El Grupo de Tratamiento Avanzado de Señal está buscando un investigador para colaborar en un proyecto sobre reconocimiento de patrones y aprendizaje automático. Participará en el diseño y la programación de técnicas de reconocimiento automático de patrones.

COMONSENS Network

The GTAS group participates in the COMONSENS Network (TEC2015-69648-REDC): a project funded by The Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad which aims at the fertilization of the research collaboration links initiated and developed during the COMONSENS project. The first COMONSENS Workshop will be held in Seville, 28-29 January, 2016.

PRISMA project

The GTAS group has initiated the PRISMA project "Advanced Machine Learning Techniques for Pattern Recognition in Time Series" (TEC2014-57402-JIN). The project is funded by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2013-2016).

Paper accepted in IEEE Transactions on Information Theory

The paper "On the Number of Interference Alignment Solutions for the K-User MIMO Channel with Constant Coefficients", co-authored by O. González, C. Beltrán and I. Santamaría, has been accepted for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory.

Junior Researcher: Pattern Recognition for Non-Destructive Evaluation

The Advanced Signal Processing Group (GTAS) is seeking a junior researcher to collaborate on a project on non-destructive evaluation. The project will involve the design and implementation of pattern recognition techniques.

Paper accepted in IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing

The paper "Detection of Multivariate Cyclostationarity", co-authored by D. Ramirez, P. J. Schreier, J. Via, I. Santamaría and L. L. Scharf, has been accepted for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.

PhD Thesis Christian Lameiro

Christian Lameiro will defend his PhD work "Cooperative Techniques for Interference Management in Wireless Networks" on May 14th.

RACHEL project

The GTAS group has initiated in 2014 the RACHEL project "Radio Access Techniques for Heterogeneous Wireless Networks" (TEC2013-47141-C3-R), in collaboration with the Universidad de A Coruña, Universidad de Valencia and CEIT. The project is funded by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (Plan Nacional I+D+I).

Special Session at ICASSP 2015

David Ramírez (former GTAS member) is co-organizing, with Javier Vía (GTAS Member) and Louis Scharf (Colorado State University), a special session at the IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), to be held from the 19th – 24th April 2015 in Brisbane, Australia.

The Special Session is entitled "Theory and Application of Coherence in Signal Processing" and will have high-quality contributions from well known researchers on Statistical Signal Processing.

Paper accepted at Integrated Computer-Aided Engineering

The paper "Blind Analysis of Atrial Fibrillation Electrograms: A Sparsity-Aware Formulation", coathored by D. Luengo, S. Monzón, T. Trigano, J. Vía, and A. Artés-Rodríguez, has been accepted for publication in the journal Integrated Computer-Aided Engineering (ICAE).
